Introduction // Medical Blister Paper
Definition:
paper with special properties that can be used in conjunction with blister materials to protect, isolate and ensure sterility, among other functions.
Basic properties:
1. Good air permeability: For medical device packaging that requires sterilisation, medical blister paper can allow the free flow of sterilising gases, such as high temperature steam or ethylene oxide gas, to ensure that the medical device can be thoroughly sterilised inside the packaging.
2. Microbiological barrier: Although breathable, it can effectively block microorganisms (e.g. bacteria, fungi, etc.) from entering the package, preventing medical devices from being contaminated during storage and transport.
3. Heat sealability: During the packaging process, it can be closely combined with blister materials (such as PET, PVC and other plastics) through the heat sealing process to form a hermetically sealed packaging structure, thus further guaranteeing a sterile environment inside the package.

1. Surgical instruments packaging:
such as scalpels, tweezers and other small surgical instruments, can clearly show the shape of the instruments, convenient for medical staff to view, while ensuring the sterility of the instruments, to prevent contamination of the instruments in the transport and storage process.
2. Large medical equipment parts packaging:
the combination of medical blister paper and blister packaging can provide good protection against vibration, collision and other damage to the parts in the transport process, and after arriving at the hospital to ensure that the parts are aseptically installed on the equipment.
3. Medical consumables packaging:
such as medical cotton balls, gauze and other disposable medical consumables, the use of medical blister paper packaging can be easily accessed, while maintaining its sterility, and can be printed on the packaging of relevant product information, such as specifications, date of manufacture.
